Job Title: MRI Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work with our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and answering questions
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including monitoring patients' responses to interventions and reporting outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed
Requirements
  • At minimum 1 - 2 years' experience preferred
  • Graduate from an accredited school
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities – remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment lbs), pushing, bending and pulling
  • Communication and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
