Position Overview: The primary duty of a Guest Services Associate is to deliver exceptional service to every customer by adhering to the five phases of The Hi Five Guest Experience (Invited, Welcomed, Well-Served, Respected, Fulfilled).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Provide the signature UDF Hi Five Guest Experience; warmly greet customers, ensure the store is always prepared for guests, anticipate their needs, and provide assistance to ensure satisfaction.
  • Product Preparation: Prepare shakes, malts, ice cream, yogurt, sundaes, sodas, and hand-packed containers.
  • Point of Sale Operation: Efficiently manage gas sales, accurately process transactions, and handle various payment methods including cash, credit cards, and coupons.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain stock levels on shelves and displays, ensure proper rotation of products, and monitor expiration dates.
  • Security Awareness: Stay vigilant to minimize theft and ensure cash levels are controlled through proper procedures.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep the store and surrounding area clean and organized, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Reporting: Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Capability to operate store equipment and handle transactions accurately.
  • Physical ability to lift items and tolerate various temperatures.
