Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Payments Product Manager to join our team at Whatnot, a leading ecommerce marketplace. This role will be responsible for leading the company's payments strategy and developing innovative payment solutions that make buying and selling easy, secure, and compliant.

Estimated Salary Range:$205,000 - $275,000 per year, plus benefits and equity.

Responsibilities
  • Design and lead the product roadmap and strategy for payments areas, balancing short-term and long-term goals.
  • Engage regularly as a trusted advisor with leadership to understand their strategies, pain points, and priorities to inform product strategy.
  • Roll up your sleeves to define product requirements & work with engineering, design and broader team to bring our roadmap to market at lightning speed.
  • Analyze competitors and industry trends to advance our payments products and drive innovation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in the payments or fintech domain, especially in an ecommerce marketplace.
  • Strong understanding of payment products, gateways, processing, and compliance standards.
  • Experience partnering with data science and working within data sets and SQL.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, identify trade-offs, and make decisions with limited information in high-pressure situations.
