About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Education Specialist to join our team as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist in Garberville, CA.

About the Position:

This is a full-time opportunity requiring a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. As a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CA state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
