Position Overview

This role involves working under the supervision of the Manager, Residential Properties, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a property complex in Richmond. Your efforts will contribute to creating a safe and pleasant environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform routine cleaning of common areas within the property.
  2. Maintain cleanliness by vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  3. Ensure windows are washed and free of streaks.
  4. Manage waste disposal by collecting and disposing of trash, as well as cleaning post garbage collection.
  5. Conduct in-suite cleaning services during tenant move-outs as required.
  6. Report any maintenance needs to supervisors or managers promptly.
  7. Complete assigned tasks efficiently with minimal oversight.
  8. Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials.
  9. Collaborate with contracted cleaning services when necessary.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: While prior experience in construction or maintenance is beneficial, additional skills in carpentry, painting, drywall, tiling, or plumbing are advantageous but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Able to work independently and follow instructions.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrate respect towards tenants and management.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic.

A criminal record check will be conducted for the selected candidate.
