Job Title: Maintenance Technician I

Job Summary:

The Fortune Bay Resort Casino is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician I, you will be responsible for carrying out various tasks assigned to you by the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager. Your primary focus will be on general building and facility maintenance, including tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general building and facility maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Perform basic carpentry and other tasks as needed.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Work safely in tight spaces and at heights.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the facility's physical plant.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health. The Maintenance Technician I will be required to work in a variety of settings, including but not limited to, the maintenance shop, throughout the facility, and in outdoor environments.

Physical Demands:

The Maintenance Technician I will be required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment is required. The Maintenance Technician I will also be required to work in tight spaces and at heights.
