Maintenance Technician I Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician I is an entry-level position responsible for carrying out various tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager. The incumbent will be involved in general building and facility maintenance, with the possibility of advancement to a Maintenance Technician II position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager
  • Perform general building and facility maintenance
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
  • Operate hand/power tools and equipment
  • Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks
Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications: None required
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Basic plumbing
    • Basic electrical
    • Basic carpentry
    • Basic mechanical
    • Some prior experience in general facility maintenance
    • Valid Driver's License
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health. The Maintenance Technician I will be required to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work safely in tight spaces.
