About the Role:

Eating Disorder Technician at Center For Discovery is responsible for providing comprehensive support to patients throughout their treatment experience. This includes ensuring patient safety, facilitating psychoeducational groups, and contributing to the treatment planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patients during admission processes, including checking in belongings and acclimating them to the program and milieu.
  • Effectively communicate with families and loved ones, as appropriate.
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as waking routines, hygiene, meals, and free time.
  • Provide milieu management and communicate with team members.
  • Engage in brief check-ins to support patients in using coping skills.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational groups as scheduled.
  • Accurately document patient progress on a daily basis.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 3pm-11pm.
