We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach a Social Emotional Learning course at Providence College. The successful candidate will have a Master's in Education and experience in school counseling.
Key Responsibilities- Teach the Social Emotional Learning course in the summer and spring semesters, beginning in 2024.
- Participate in bi-monthly program faculty meetings to discuss curriculum development and program improvement.
- Contribute to program accreditation preparation and visits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Engage in ongoing program improvement efforts, providing feedback and suggestions for enhancement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the ASCA Model and its applications in K-12 schools.
- A Master's in Education is required for this position.
- Experience in school counseling is preferred, but not mandatory.
As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our students, while also advancing your own professional expertise.
