Core Duties Include:

  • Implementing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, including conducting failure and root cause analyses.
  • Performing regular servicing and repairs on equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Adhering to established maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Fostering a safe working environment by leading safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Enforcing lock-out/tag-out procedures and adhering to all OSHA regulations.
  • Ensuring that all equipment and facilities meet company standards for operation and maintenance.
  • Providing responsive and proactive maintenance support to all team members within the plant.
  • Completing service calls and machinery repairs promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Assisting mechanics with troubleshooting and providing technical expertise as needed.
  • Driving initiatives to reduce operational losses through breakdown analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Managing parts acquisition and maintaining an organized stockroom for critical repair components.
  • Overseeing labor management within the maintenance team budget.
  • Supporting the professional development of team members.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.
  • Undertaking additional projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations or maintenance; or a High School diploma/Technical School Certification with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Willingness to work any shift in a 24/7 operational environment.
  • Must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S methodologies.
  • Experience in food and/or beverage manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
  • Understanding of national, state, and local regulatory requirements related to food safety, safety, environment, and emergency management.
  • Electrical or Vocational Certification is a plus.
