Cardiovascular Operating Room Assistant Job Description

At AMN Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Assistant to join our team at the Heart Hospital of Austin. As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist cardiovascular surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the surgical team
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • RN: TX or Compact license; ACLS, BLS
  • Surg Tech: NBSTSA or NCCT certification; BLS
