About the Role:

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at our Montebello campus. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing effective care plans to ensure optimal imaging results
  • Operating CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' anatomy
  • Maintaining accurate records and files, ensuring the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, managing supply inventory, and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as an R.T. (R)(CT)
  • Radiologic Tech licensure in the state of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of California (preferred)
  • Venipuncture certification (preferred)
  • ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification
