Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team at Adventist Health in Whittier, California.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue to aid in medical diagnosis. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • Assess patient conditions and determine the most effective imaging protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and files, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment, as well as manage supply inventory.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT.
  • Radiologic Tech licensure in the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Certification in CT modality (preferred).
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
