Job Summary

The Timekeeping Audit Clerk is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of schedule and timecard data. This involves auditing and reconciling data, as well as providing support to employees, former employees, and supervisors regarding payroll and time and attendance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly time and attendance audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with end-user training for new hires, timekeepers, and cost center managers
  • Provide training on new functionality related to advanced scheduler enhancements and upgrades
  • Maintain Biometric environment by enrolling employees, auditing and recording Biometric data, and revising biometric registrations as needed
  • Research and troubleshoot reported time clock issues
  • Provide secondary support to the Manager of Kronos Support regarding system updates, upgrades, testing, and implementations
  • Monitor employee status changes and their impact on benefits, accrual balances, lump sum payouts, and accrual adjustments
  • Respond to inquiries and provide information to employees, former employees, and supervisors
  • Respond to KronosHelp e-mails and telephone calls, and research and resolve issues, problems, and concerns in a timely manner
  • Provide input for the Manager of Kronos Support regarding testing system configuration changes, upgrades, and new functionality implementation
  • Participate in creating, reviewing, and revising audit procedural documentation on an annual basis to align with internal and external audit requirements
  • Monitor new employee records, review accrual grants, and resolve discrepancies
Requirements
  • One year of experience performing staff scheduling and timekeeping tasks utilizing an automated time and attendance system, including responsibility for reconciling, auditing, and resolving time and attendance issues
  • High school or equivalency diploma required
