Job Summary:

The Timekeeping Audit Clerk is responsible for auditing schedule and timecard data, and enters, retrieves and corrects data to maintain accurate scheduling data for staffing and accurate timecard data for payroll processing. Acts as liaison to employees, former employees and supervisors, regarding payroll and time and attendance issues.

Responsibilities:

•Reviews information in automated time and attendance system, and completes accurate weekly, bi-weekly and quarterly time and attendance audit assignments •Assists with end-user training for new hires, timekeepers, and cost center managers •Provides training on new functionality related to advanced scheduler enhancements and upgrades •Maintains Biometric environment by enrolling employees at time clocks, audits and records Biometric data, revises biometric registrations for exceptions to best practice standards for electronic time capturing, and maintains spreadsheet with exceptions to thresholds and clock assignments •Researches and troubleshoots reported time clock issues •Provides secondary support to the Manager of Kronos Support as it relates to system updates, upgrades, testing, and implementations •Monitors employee status changes and the impact on their benefits, accrual balances, lump sum payouts, and accrual adjustments •Responds to inquiries and provides information to employees, former employees and supervisors •Responds to KronosHelp e-mails and telephone calls, and researches and resolves issues, problems and concerns presented in timely manner •Provides input for the Manager of Kronos Support regarding testing system configuration changes, upgrades, and new functionality implementation •Participates in creating, reviewing, and revising audit procedural documentation on an annual basis to align with internal and external audit requirements •Monitors new employee records, reviews accrual grants, and resolves discrepancies •Researches and completes Historical Edits for Payroll Services Qualifications/Requirements:

Experience:

One year of experience performing staff scheduling and timekeeping tasks utilizing an automated time and attendance system, which included responsibility for reconciling, auditing and resolving time and attendance issues

Education:

High school or equivalency diploma required
