Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Cordia Resources. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in quality assurance within the manufacturing sector, specifically focusing on electronic components and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough receiving, in-process, and final inspections on products across various stages of production.
  • Review product build documentation and end-item data packages to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform detailed evaluations of both electrical and mechanical components at the piece part level, as well as at the assembly and sub-assembly levels.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and workmanship practices by adhering to established process specifications.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials for the quality assurance team.
  • Generate nonconformance reports for any discrepancies identified during inspections.
  • Conduct audits of work areas to verify adherence to ISO 9001/AS 9100 standards and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Perform in-depth reviews of product build documentation to ensure that as-built configurations meet design requirements.
  • Act as a safety representative during critical operations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in quality inspection, auditing, testing, and documentation.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation and inspect according to drawings, parts lists, and inspection plans.
  • Familiarity with IPC J-STD-001, IPC-610, IPC-620, and ESD standards.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and digital multimeters.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications and quick to learn new software.
  • Willingness to engage in off-shift activities, including occasional overtime and weekend support.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and TIPQA is preferred.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills are essential.
Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing or inspection of electronic components and assemblies.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance.
