Primary Objective

To install, repair, and maintain various air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal indoor air quality across all facilities within the district.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification/Licensure
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Texas driver's license and successful MVR driving record check - must meet eligibility criteria for district motor vehicle insurance
Special Knowledge/Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Fundamental understanding of pneumatic control systems
  • Familiarity with operational sequences for hot and chilled water systems and their controls
  • Knowledge of low-pressure boilers and associated pumps
  • Capability to perform basic sheet metal tasks
  • Ability to interpret complex wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of hand tools and small power tools, including drills and saws, as well as safe ladder usage

Equipment Utilized

Including but not limited to hand tools, small power tools, air conditioning gauges, volt, ohm, amp meters, ladders, and all other relevant HVAC equipment and tools.
