Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of patients' conditions and provide periodic evaluations and summaries, develop care plans, and document clinical/progress notes on the day of service.
- Contribute to the development and periodic revision of the physician's treatment plan.
- Assist the physician in evaluating patients by performing diagnostic and prognostic tests related to muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
- Administer treatments to alleviate pain and/or enhance or restore function to ensure optimal performance.
- Document and communicate to the physician the patient's response to treatment and any changes in their condition.
- Educate families on the patient's comprehensive physical therapy program, including the use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices (e.g., canes, wheelchairs).

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a PT-related field.
- Doctor of Physical Therapy from an APTA-approved program.
- Licensure or certification by the state of Texas as a Physical Therapist.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Fine motor skills to operate tools and equipment.
- Visual and auditory acuity to assess patients' conditions and communicate effectively.
