Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Physical Therapy Now. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for therapy sessions, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Assist with patient transportation and mobility, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Review patient evaluations and stay up-to-date on treatment plans, communicating effectively with physical therapists as needed.
  • Administer balance and muscle strength tests, and provide manual exercises, massage, or traction to alleviate pain and improve patient outcomes.
  • Record patient progress and treatment responses, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Stay current with continuing education requirements, attending courses and workshops to enhance professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies, promoting our services and attracting new patients.
Requirements
  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license/certificate in the state of employment.
  • Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Exceptional patient care skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (desired).
