Residential Counselor

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Counselor to provide support and guidance to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting. As a Residential Counselor, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting recovery and wellness, and supporting community integration.

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as meal planning, housekeeping, and personal care.
• Develop and implement individualized service plans to promote recovery and wellness.
• Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in social and recreational activities.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to individuals, promoting self-determination and independence.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a comprehensive and supportive environment.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in human services or a related field; life experience also considered.
• Valid Driver's License and CPRP/RPRP Certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; flexibility and adaptability required.

This is a full-time position, working varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent deadlines and a high level of energy.
