Job Description:

We seek an experienced Senior Accountant with a unique blend of strategic thinking and analytical acumen to manage all aspects of our financial operations. Key responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, month-end close, variance analysis, and job costing.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and treasury
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Manage the month-end close process and ensure timely recording of financial data
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations
  • Implement and maintain job costing systems to accurately capture costs
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and optimize productivity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA certification highly desirable
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
  • Extensive experience with balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, month-end close, variance analysis, and job costing
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
