Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Infusion Clinic in Hollings Cancer Center

Hollings Cancer Center Infusion Unit is a state-of-the-art facility providing specialized oncology care to patients throughout South Carolina. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals offers a range of services, including bone marrow transplants and CAR-T therapy, in a comfortable and supportive environment.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Infusion Clinic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care under the direction of a physician or licensed healthcare provider. Your responsibilities will include rooming patients, taking vital signs and health history, documenting in an electronic medical record, administering injections, and assisting with minor procedures.

Requirements:
  • Graduation from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program and licensure as an LPN within the state of South Carolina or a compact state.
  • One year of LPN experience preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC).
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform job functions while standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Ability to climb stairs and work in a latex-safe environment.
  • Ability to maintain good olfactory sensory function and be qualified physically for respirator use.
