Position Summary
Target PharmaSolutions is at the forefront of transforming the generation of real-world evidence through the curation of high-quality datasets across diverse therapeutic areas. We are seeking a Business Analyst to enhance our data platform and internal tools that facilitate the generation of real-world evidence.
Our development teams collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to create comprehensive datasets from various data sources. As a Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting customer experience requirements, as well as the technical needs related to NLP and ML, process design, system modifications, testing, and analysis. You will act as a technical liaison among engineering, product, and cross-functional teams regarding data modeling, infrastructure optimization, and the development of NLP and ML models.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various business units (e.g., engineering, product, medical affairs, clinical operations, data science, UX/UI design, data curation) to identify challenges, project goals, and client requirements.
- Collect business requirements and create functional specifications while working closely with engineering and product teams.
- Translate product roadmap features into clearly defined product requirements, including features, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the Product Owner within Agile development teams, managing and refining the product backlog, ensuring clarity of tasks, prioritizing user stories, and assisting with sprint planning.
- Oversee cross-product risks and interdependencies.
- Develop internal and external documentation, including release notes and user guides/training materials as necessary.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance and validate that solutions meet client specifications by leading user acceptance testing across cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate product capabilities to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Analyze business needs to meet delivery timelines and identify areas for improvement to enhance product development quality.
- Establish and evaluate post-launch product metrics to assess future investment opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience as a business analyst or product owner.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business information systems, computing and systems development, or relevant experience in clinical trials.
- Familiarity with NLP, machine learning, and statistical methodologies.
- Proficient in generating technical documentation.
- Knowledge of programming languages, databases, and software testing.
- Strong communication skills and business acumen to engage effectively with stakeholders across various business units.
- Technical expertise to discuss architectural design concepts with technical teams.
- Proficient in Scrum and Agile software development methodologies.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adept at troubleshooting issues and applying analytical thinking.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually. Compensation will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
