We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Officer (FSO) to enhance our operational capabilities in the management of drone flight locations, referred to as nests. The FSO plays a crucial role in ensuring safety and operational efficiency during setup, maintenance, and dismantling of these sites.

Essential Skills:

  • Serve as a mobile FSO, conducting resupply missions and providing support to colleagues in the field. A valid US driving license is required.
  • Skilled in utilizing IT systems for effective communication with corporate platforms.
  • Prepared to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough inspections of aircraft, including pre-flight and post-flight evaluations, alongside daily operational tasks.
  • Adhere to standard aircraft maintenance protocols as outlined in the Wing UAS Maintenance Manual.
  • Examine nest equipment, execute pre-flight and post-flight assessments, and oversee daily operational responsibilities.
  • Replace nest equipment as necessary, as provided by the Wing.
  • Engage in Crew Briefs and maintain consistent communication with the Wing Pilot-in-Command.

Job Requirements:

  • Conduct aircraft inspections, including pre-flight and post-flight evaluations, and manage daily operational tasks.
  • Follow established aircraft maintenance procedures in accordance with the Wing UAS Maintenance Manual.
  • Inspect nest equipment, perform pre-flight and post-flight checks, and handle daily operational activities.
  • Replace nest equipment as required, as supplied by the Wing.
  • Participate in Crew Briefs and ensure effective communication with the Wing Pilot-in-Command.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Gather and present field data related to wireless networks during site surveys and post-installation visits.
  • Capable of executing basic network cabling tasks on a site-specific basis.
  • Familiarity with telephony equipment such as CSU/DCU, smart jacks, 66 & 110 blocks, and other essential network devices.
  • Ability to manually perform cross-connect functions on telephony blocks and patch panels.
  • Utilize computer systems to manage and update database information on network management devices.
