Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented CSCD Technician to join our team at Dallas County. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining confidential records, tracking and verifying urine samples, and providing clerical support to our front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform administrative tasks, including maintaining confidential records and tracking urine samples
  • Provide clerical support to our front desk operations, including answering phones and responding to emails
  • Assist community supervision officers with custody process and criminal history checks
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records, including UA reports and client information
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, departments, and the general public
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited high school or GED program
  • 60 college hours (external candidate) or 40 college hours (internal candidate) from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly in the absence of specific instructions
  • Ability to maintain neat, comprehensible, and accurate records and personnel files
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions, organize and process work
Working Conditions

This position requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and the ability to lift files, boxes, and other materials up to 15 lbs., unassisted.
