Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Clerk to join our team. As an Administrative Support Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office by managing mailroom tasks, maintaining office files, and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility and a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of experience in an administrative setting and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Sort and distribute internal/interoffice mail twice daily
  • Receive and distribute daily packages from UPS, USPS, and FedEx
  • Organize and maintain office files, including clinical information and patient documents
  • Pull and distribute medical records, hospital inpatient and ER notes, and prescriptions
  • Assist with medical waste disposal management and documentation
  • Transport lab specimens from clinical departments to the lab
  • Order office and mail room supplies
  • Maintain water and coffee supplies for break rooms
  • Distribute patient documents returned from medical records
  • Monitor and maintain break room bulletin boards
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minimum 1+ year of related work experience, preferably in an administrative setting
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of mailroom equipment and current postal regulations
  • Proficient with computer-based programs, including EHR when required
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with staff and the public
  • Ability to work as an effective team member and exhibit a positive attitude
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly range for this position is $16.00 - $23.94 per hour. New York Residents Only. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
