Role Summary
The Club Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of the club in the absence of the Club Manager. Key responsibilities encompass ensuring high levels of Member and Guest satisfaction, driving sales through membership initiatives and retail offerings, managing operational expenses, and upholding a safe and clean environment. This position is also accountable for safeguarding club assets and funds, fostering a positive work atmosphere, and enhancing staff training and development.
Core Responsibilities
The essential duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Direct supervision of 5-20 hourly team members.
- Achieving targeted satisfaction scores from Members and Guests.
- Implementing effective sales strategies for membership and retail.
- Maintaining operational standards and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Conducting regular training sessions to develop team capabilities.
- Ensuring the club environment is secure, clean, and welcoming.
- Handling financial reconciliations, including cash deposits and inventory management.
- Exhibiting strong leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Attributes
- Demonstrated management skills, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.

- Thorough understanding of company policies and commitment to enforcing them.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and work ethic.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
Experience and Education
- 1-2 years of management experience, preferably in the fitness or related sector.
- High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
