Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Host/Hostess to warmly greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant, providing a positive first impression and friendly demeanor. The successful candidate will manage the reservation system efficiently, including taking reservations, confirming bookings, and organizing seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow. They will also maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests to the restaurant, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure seamless transitions.
  • Assist in managing the guest waiting list during peak dining hours.
  • Monitor dining room activity and anticipate guest needs.
  • Provide accurate information about the restaurant, including menus and promotions.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor. Strong organizational abilities, including time management, multitasking, and attention to detail, are essential. You will also need the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, especially during busy dining periods.
