Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location:Prior Lake, MN

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview:We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student communication needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and support student communication needs.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address student communication goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to support student progress.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to setting educational goals for students.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
