We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and Plan: Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication issues in students and create personalized treatment plans.
  • Intervene and Improve: Use proven methods to enhance students' communication, articulation, fluency, and language skills.
  • Collaborate: Work with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and apply strategies that support student participation in the classroom and social activities.
  • Monitor Progress: Track and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed for the best results.
  • Educate and Guide: Provide guidance to parents, teachers, and staff on ways to support and improve students' communication skills.
  • Maintain Records: Keep accurate and current records, including session notes, progress reports, and billing information.
  • Stay Informed: Keep up with the latest research and best practices in speech language pathology.
  • Participate: Join IEP meetings, team meetings, and professional development activities.
  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all relevant regulations and ethical standards for speech language pathology in schools.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • Minnesota license for Speech and Language Therapy, or eligibility to become licensed
  • Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.

Benefits:

  • $75/hr. - $80/hr. based on experience
  • $2,812 - $3,000/week based on 37.5 hours.
