Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Specialist to join our team at Pioneer Metal Finishing. The ideal candidate will have broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, acquired through hands-on training.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems necessary for the operation of our facility.

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance checks, diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, and perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.
  • Inventory Control: Responsible for departmental inventory control and maintaining accurate records.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls on a twenty-four-hour basis and work safely in compliance with OSHA safety and EPA regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems acquired through hands-on training.
  • Technical degree with a minimum of two (2) years work-related experience preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Blueprint and schematic knowledge helpful.
