We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our growing team. As a Service Technician at Zorn Compressor, you will play a crucial role in providing on-site maintenance and repair services for a wide range of compressed air and vacuum equipment at various customer locations in the greater Green Bay area.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that is based on experience and qualifications.

** $2,000 sign-on bonus after 90-days of successful employment. **

Service technicians at Zorn Compressor are self-starters and independent people who work on equipment while also developing relationships with our customers. A 40-hour work week is normal with occasional overtime opportunities. Technicians are geographically based which allows them to be home every night. There is a constant change of scenery during the day with various customer visits for maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

- Conduct routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on compressors, vacuum pumps, and related equipment

- Utilize precision measuring instruments and mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues accurately

- Ensure efficient operation of equipment

- Program and troubleshoot logic controllers for system optimization

- Document service activities, including parts used and work performed, for accurate record-keeping

- Collaborate with customers to provide technical support and guidance on equipment usage

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Service Technician or mechanic in an industrial setting

- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures

- Ability to use logic controllers and precision measuring instruments effectively

- Familiarity with ohmmeters, low & medium voltage systems, and industrial mechanics

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Effective communication skills to interact with customers professionally

- Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.

- High School diploma or GED

- Valid drivers license with good driving record

- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen
