Surgical Technologist Evening Shift

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the surgical suite, providing high-quality patient care, and supporting our expert surgeons and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with the operating room team to maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a smooth flow of surgical procedures.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized operating room and work areas.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- 1-3 years of operating room experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program through NBSTSA.
- Certification exam must be taken and passed within 12 months of completion of surgical technologist program.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree.
- Bilingual preferred.
