Surgical Technologist Evening Shift

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the surgical suite, providing high-quality patient care, and supporting the surgical team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
- Prepare and have available sterile instruments and equipment for specific surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams in proper patient positioning and maintaining patient safety.
- Collaborate with the operating room team to maintain equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Respond to emergencies and changes in assignments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
- 1-3 years of operating room experience preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program through NBSTSA.
