As a Registered Nurse within our organization, you will engage with a dedicated group of professionals committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Deaconess offers diverse nursing roles across various levels of expertise and specialties within our extensive network of healthcare facilities.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering direct patient care while applying critical thinking and clinical judgment. This role involves integrating evidence-based practices into nursing care, overseeing the care provided, coordinating patient care plans, educating patients and their families, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program. Candidates with non-accredited nursing education must possess at least one year of professional nursing experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, or an educational plan must be established. Newly hired RNs with limited experience are expected to obtain their BSN within a specified timeframe.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Indiana is mandatory.
Deaconess utilizes the EPIC Medical Record System for efficient patient management.
