Job Summary

As a Critical Care Flight Nurse with Air Methods Clinical, you will play a vital role in providing life-saving medical transport to the community. With a minimum of 36 months of experience in a busy ICU, ER, Flight, or Critical Care Transport setting within the last 5 years, your expertise will be invaluable.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality critical care, including assessment, triage, and treatment, utilizing standards and guidelines established by Air Methods Clinical Medical Director(s).
  • Assess the nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize the care needed for the safe transport of the critical patient to the appropriate facility.
  • Carry out the mission and goals of Air Methods Clinical, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelors degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/ local EMS regulations.
  • Pre-hospital experience preferred.
  • Flight experience is not required but is a plus.
