Job Title: Director of Facility & Maintenance

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Facility & Maintenance to lead our maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and programs to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment issues and implement process improvements.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment performance.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company financial policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements, including GMPs and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement process improvements and optimize equipment performance.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians and production staff on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of maintenance technician experience, with 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in a food production setting and with food production equipment is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GMPs and sanitation procedures is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Limble is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires work to be conducted in a warehouse and bakery production environment where conditions can be extreme, including heat, cold, loud noises, and more.
  • Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and occasional sitting.
  • This job requires the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Requires multilimb coordination, finger dexterity, manual dexterity, and short sightedness.
  • This position might require flexibility to accommodate the potential for a varying schedule, including early morning and late night work hours.
  • Position requires occasional weekend work and a flexible schedule to manage team members across three shifts.
