About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Construction Restoration Specialist to join our team at the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for restoring properties damaged by water, fire, and other disasters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, mark, and cut panels according to the scope of work using tape measures, straight edges, utility knives, and power saws
  • Secure and hang panels with glue, nails, screws
  • Patch, trim, and smooth out any rough edges or spots
  • Apply tape and sealing compound as needed
  • The ability to match existing texture is essential
  • Sand areas as necessary for a smooth, seamless finish
  • Prepare and paint walls and other surfaces as directed by the scope of work
  • Familiarity with minor electrical work
  • The ability to complete minimal plumbing tasks correctly
  • Experience with varying types of finish work
  • Experience with plumbing
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools is required
  • Ability to lift 80 pounds
  • Must pass and maintain a satisfactory background screening, insurable driving record, and pre-employment drug screening
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in construction and restoration
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
