Position Summary

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a PRN Consultant Dietitian role. As a consultant, you will play a vital role in the facility care teams, advocating for nutritional health and enhancing the quality of life while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in the industry. While experience in long-term care is beneficial, it is not mandatory, as we provide comprehensive support and resources to train the right individual.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Can effectively engage with residents and facility staff to foster positive relationships and support resident objectives
• Possesses strong interpersonal, communication, listening, planning, critical thinking, and analytical skills
• Exhibits excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Has knowledge of state, federal, and county regulations concerning nutrition and food service
• Demonstrates sound clinical nutrition skills, including assessment, intervention, and monitoring
• Understands MDS section K, care planning, and the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM)
• Is competent in electronic medical records and basic computer skills
• Can work independently to meet client and resident needs within the scope of practice
• Is a current registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration and holds the necessary state licensure as applicable
