Global Security and Communications, Inc is seeking a dedicated full-time Fire Alarm Technician - Project Manager to oversee the installation and maintenance of our fire alarm systems. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 - $110,000 per year, with options for hourly or salaried compensation, in addition to a signing bonus. We provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a moving allowance.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN - PROJECT MANAGER

As a Fire Alarm Technician - Project Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of our clients' workplaces. You will be involved in the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems in both commercial and residential settings, performing thorough tests to guarantee optimal functionality. In the event of a malfunction, you will troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Your role also includes strategically scheduling service calls and system inspections to maximize the productivity of our technicians. You will collaborate with your team, offering assistance when needed, and take pride in maintaining the integrity of our fire alarm systems and overall security operations.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIRE ALARM TECHNICIAN - PROJECT MANAGER

  • Level II or III certification from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
  • Willingness to undergo a background check upon hire

While licensure in Oregon or Washington is preferred, it is not mandatory. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities are essential for success in this role.
