Madden Industrial Craftsmen is currently in search of a Life Safety Systems Specialist. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to troubleshoot, repair, install, program, test, inspect, and upgrade fire alarm systems and other low-voltage life safety solutions. This role will involve commissioning and certifying new systems for various commercial properties.


Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Compensation: $35-45/hr, depending on experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and install fire alarm systems and low-voltage safety solutions.
  • Program, test, and inspect safety systems.
  • Execute upgrades for fire alarm and low-voltage systems.
  • Commission and certify new systems in commercial properties.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a low voltage license in Oregon and Washington.
  • Proficient in using a personal computer.
  • Experience with IP network-based systems.
  • Ability to install and connect radio and cellular dialers.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • NICET Certification II is preferred.
  • Commitment to maintaining customer confidentiality.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic and write clearly.
  • Capable of working within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
