Job Title: Registered Nurse - Methadone Clinic

CASA Trinity of Geneseo is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Methadone Clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide care to patients in the alcoholism and/or substance abuse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and assist in the development of a health plan
  • Conduct client interactions in accordance with NYS (OASAS) regulations
  • Participate in patient assessment and provide emergency care services in life-threatening situations
  • Manage patient specimens and test reports
  • Provide teaching to patients/families as needed
  • Document written records of patient care
  • Develop medical intervention programs designed to meet the needs of the patient

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing
  • Prior clinical experience in a substance abuse environment
  • New York State Education Department License as a Registered Nurse
  • Valid driver's license

Work Environment:

The employee is expected to adhere to strict policies/regulations relative to being in a tobacco and alcohol-free workplace. Work is performed in a normal office environment.
