Job Summary:

UR Medicine | Noyes Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs. You will also collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Assist with specialized procedures such as mammography, spinal taps, and esthetic laser treatments.
  • Provide care for patients with special needs, including those requiring neonatal ventilators or alimentation.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems.
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  • Utilize medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and lifts to assist with patient mobility.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location].
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with specialized procedures such as mammography or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.
