The Sales Manager for Custom/Modular Home/High-Performance Home Builders will have an opportunity to help Unico grow its market share in the Custom/Modular Home market.
We are looking for someone with experience processing a large number of inbound leads. This person will be willing to travel to opportune areas where Unico can become a choice HVAC system for Custom/Modular/High-Performance home designs.
This role will work closely with the Director of Sales in our corporate office to manage annual goals and reporting expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Inbound Lead Management: Responsible for managing inbound leads for the custom home market, utilizing a CRM process.
- Account Management: Establish and maintain a continuing relationship with Custom Home professional accounts.
- Market Research: Identify geographical areas and opportunities to grow Unico in Custom, Modular, and High-Performance Homes.
- Sales Representation: Represent the Unico System product and company in a sales role.
- Training and Development: Promote and conduct Unico training opportunities for professionals in the industry.
- Product Knowledge: Participate in Unico product training as needed.
- Sales Goal Development: Assist in the development of sales goals.
- Travel: Travel up to 50% per year in designated territories.
- Industry Events: Attend conferences and trade shows for maximum exposure of company products and potential prospecting.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Unico Reps to process leads in their territory.
- Marketing Support: Work closely with the Marketing Department to identify sales needs, tools, and marketing support.
- Brand Development: Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop a complete Custom/Modular/High-Performance Home presence.
- Interdepartmental Communication: Work with other Unico departments as needed.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years outside sales experience.
- Customer Service: Demonstrated experience with customer service in a sales role.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office.
- Remote Work: Remote work with the St. Louis, MO office (when needed).
- HVAC and Home Builder Sales Experience: HVAC and or Home Builder sales experience.
- Program Management Experience: 1-2 years program management experience.
