Job Summary

Accessible Space Inc. is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors, and veterans. Our Nevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP) is a highly recognized leader in the field of brain injury rehabilitation.

Job Responsibilities
  • Market NCEP's programs to all appropriate audiences, including hospitals, case managers, physicians, and other sources.
  • Conduct on-site and virtual assessments of potential clients for NCEP residential and treatment programs.
  • Respond to program inquiries in a timely manner and complete pre-admission clinical assessments of potential clients.
  • Meet with referring physicians, treatment teams, discharge planners, and family members to compile comprehensive pre-admission evaluations.
  • Submit evaluations to funding sources and negotiate rate, length of stay, and provider agreements.
  • Verify insurance benefits and secure funding authorizations prior to acceptance of clients into the program.
  • Conduct tours for families, clients, funders, and other community members to promote NCEP services.
Requirements
  • Prior successful experience working in day treatment or residential programs with individuals with traumatic brain injury or stroke.
  • Two years of successful work experience in related functions in healthcare or rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of functional assessment processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with staff and clients.
  • Two-year degree in health, human services, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of neurorehabilitation, insurance, marketing, and public relations.
