Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Acute Care Hospital Float Pool team. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential safety risks and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Precept and mentor new staff members to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
