About Us:
Generations Home Care is dedicated to providing exceptional home care services to individuals in the Kingston region and surrounding Kitsap County. We are looking for empathetic caregivers to join our team. We welcome Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Home Care Aides (HCA), or individuals willing to obtain certification within 200 days of employment, with training provided.
Client Care Requirements:
This position is tailored to meet the specific needs of a client in Kingston. The caregiver will be required to assist from 10 am to 10 pm, providing stand-by support for mobility due to fall risks, as well as companionship and respite care for the spouse. The household is pet-free.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage ranging from $19 to $21, based on certification level
- Bi-monthly pay schedule
- Flexible work hours to accommodate your availability

Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, light cleaning, and laundry
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and other necessary outings
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs
- Follow safety protocols and medical guidelines
- Monitor medication intake and report any discrepancies
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for clients
- Provide emotional support to clients and their families
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using technology for care management and time tracking
- Ability to adhere to care plans and medical protocols
- Capability to lift over 25 pounds
- CNA/HCA certification or willingness to obtain one within 200 days of hire
- Strong time management skills
- Must pass a background check
- Preferred CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to build relationships with clients and their families
