About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned UX Researcher to join our Customer Marketplace Insights (CMI) team. As a key member of the team, you will drive transformation and innovation by contributing insights and research outcomes that directly impact business and product decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct user research activities, including interviews, testing, and evaluation, to uncover experience and product development insights.
  • Develop and execute research projects/programs aimed at understanding customer needs, expectations, and experiences.
  • Collaborate with the UX Research team, Experience Designers, and Managers to develop and execute UX Research projects/programs.
  • Produce research documents, including screeners, question guides, and reports.
  • Moderate and host workshops, such as ideation sessions.
  • Build impactful and influential insights and stories highlighting user orientations and behaviors.
  • Perform desk research to inform the front end of new projects.
  • Manage research participant experience and protect their personal and private data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various functions and disciplines, including industrial design and technology partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a research-related discipline.
  • Five or more years of related non-academic work experience in a dedicated research role.
  • Experience defining and planning research approaches and methodologies in the context of project scope and timeline.
  • Experience with user research methods, including usability testing, user interviews, and diary studies.
  • Experience crafting discussion guides and tools to reveal customer/user needs and desires.
  • Experience moderating and planning field studies, user interviews, and usability studies in in-person and remote testing environments.
  • Experience with qualitative generative research, evaluative methodologies, and usability from concept formation through launch.
  • Understanding of quantitative research and ability to work with specialists when needed.
  • Experience with secondary data, trends, and learnings.
  • Experience demonstrating UX Research impact and driving business and product decisions through UX Research.
  • Ability to work in close partnership with designers and business units.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience providing insights to inform physical product development decisions.
  • Partner, vendor, and resource management experience.
  • Understanding of semiotics.
What We Offer

At OLIVER Agency, we offer a competitive salary range of $145,000.00 to $165,000.00, depending on experience and qualifications.
