J.R. Simplot Company is seeking a Digital Farming Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Digital Sales Advisors in the region, supporting them with installation and removal of soil moisture probes, tissue sampling, field moisture checks, learning SmartFarm water management software and Simplot Advisor software.

About the Job
This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a passion for agriculture and technology to gain hands-on experience in digital farming. As a Digital Farming Assistant, you will work closely with experienced Crop Advisors and supervisors in sales and service activities, developing your skills and knowledge in precision agriculture and software use.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist with field instrumentation and data collection
* Analyze and interpret data from various sources
* Develop and implement strategies to improve crop yields and efficiency

Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in AgriBusiness, Ag Economics, Precision Agriculture, or Agronomy
* Experience with software and hardware systems used in precision agriculture
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
* Valid Driver's License

Estimated Salary Range: $50,000-$60,000 per year
