Job Summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Stepdown Unit as a Full Time Night shift nurse. As a member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Cardiac Stepdown Unit, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Function within the framework of hospital policies and procedures, and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
  • Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of nursing.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification required.
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
